##Pay with x402

Over HTTP, POST /v1/search answers 402 when listings match. The PAYMENT-REQUIRED header carries the x402 v2 offer: the exact scheme, USDC on Base (eip155:8453), amount 1000000 (1 USDC). The JSON body repeats the offer under x402, with search_id and payment_link.

Retry the same request with the PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header. X-PAYMENT is also accepted. Clients built for x402 v1 do not read the offer.

Over MCP, search_office_space returns an error result with the same offer. Call it again with the payment in _meta["x402/payment"]. Coinbase's @x402/mcp client (createx402MCPClient with autoPayment) does both steps.

A paid search returns the settlement, including the transaction hash, in the PAYMENT-RESPONSE header, or in _meta["x402/payment-response"] over MCP. A search with zero results is free. It returns no offer.
